Crafting a luxury eCommerce experience

Luxury Australian fashion label Manning Cartell approached us for a complete overhaul of their online presence. Their website needed to be a true representation of the brand, inspire customers and drive online sales in national and international markets.

So we built a site that embodied the high-touch and personalised service experienced in their boutiques. An experience that stayed true to the Manning Cartell brand, by putting the customer at the heart of everything.

A dynamic brand refresh

We began by refining the brand’s visual identity, creating a dynamic system inspired by Manning Cartell’s distinctive qualities – high contrast, industrial, geometric and timeless. The sculptural line work in their boutiques was used as a graphic device to frame and interact with both image and content.

A mobile-first shopping experience

Increasing conversion rates from mobile devices was a key goal for the new Manning Cartell website. To ensure we delivered a seamless browse-to-buy experience, we approached the design with a ‘mobile-first’ attitude.

The boutique experience online

When designing the site itself, we collaborated with the Manning Cartell team to ensure every detailed reflected their brand values, from the retrained colour palette, to the customer-centric shopping experience and the emphasis on imagery. Now, you can step inside the boutique with a single click or tap.

Celebrating each collection

We created a dedicated section of the website for new collections, giving them more exposure and showing off the latest lookbook photography.

In bringing Manning Cartell’s digital presence in line with their premium boutique brand, we’ve improved their customers online experience, boosted conversions and increased the total online revenue.
